Day 1

First Step Into Finance

Eight Months at Atomico

London Venture Capital Network & CivilizationX

In 2019 I started studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of York. Four years later, I would graduate with a high 2:1 (68%), leadership positions in the Investment & Finance Society, and as an analyst at the Griff Investment Fund.

In 2022, I secured my first 2-month internship at USS, where I produced an investment presentation analysing the performance of the portfolio over the past 5 years. The follow summer I interned at investment bank Corbett Keeling, where I built buyers lists, researched and performed outreach to new potential clients.

In 2023, an internship at Atomico completely changed my career direction. I helped to write the 2023 State of European Tech report and performed various DD and portfolio analysis tasks. I fell in love with the ecosystem and set my focus on one day becoming a VC investor.

Since finishing in the summer of 2024, I've taken steps toward that goal. I am a fellow at the London Venture Capital Network, completing their 3-month programme, and I am a scout a VC syndicate Civilization X

My dream is to become a VC investor. After experiencing the role first hand at Atomico, I'd love to spend my career around some of the most exciting companies in the world, and helping the European ecosystem to grow.

I am now looking for a position, internship or full-time in a venture capital investment team.
